Obituary For George A. Anderson

George A. Anderson of Sarasota, Florida, peacefully slipped into eternal rest on Thursday, July 10, 2025. He was born on February 6, 1961, to the late George Anderson and Roberta Moore.

George was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Roberta Moore Smith; his nephew, Delrick Anderson, Jr. (Lil D); Grandparents Charlie Moore and Margaret Redden; and Aunts Loretha Cheaves and Sherry Moore.

George had a heart of gold and was known for his generous spirit. Whether mowing lawns, washing cars, or simply lending a helping hand, he was always there for his community. A proud Dallas Cowboys fan, George had an infectious personality—if you were in his presence, you were bound to laugh.

He leaves to cherish his memory:
His loving son, George Anderson, Jr. (Maria); Grandson, Jaden Anderson; Sisters, Tanya Moore Brown (Willie) and Hannah Smith; Brother, Delrick Anderson; Nephews, Antwone Anderson, Willie Brown, Terrance Brown, and Jailyn Anderson; Aunts, Charlie Mae Jenkins and Shirley Moore;
Uncle, Perry Moore (Lula); Special friend, Aaron “AA” Hunter

And a host of cousins, extended family, and friends who will forever remember his warmth, humor, and love.
