Obituary For Lisa Sherell Rackley

Lisa Sherell Rackley was born on September 28, 1963, in Kendall, Florida, and was raised in Florida City, Florida.

She was a proud graduate of South Dade High School, where she excelled academically while simultaneously taking college courses at Miami Dade College.

Lisa completed her studies with high honors and ahead of her expected time, demonstrating the determination and excellence that would define her life.

She later attended nursing school and earned her Nursing Assistant Certification.

Continuing her pursuit of education, Lisa obtained an Associate Degree in Health Information from DeVry University. She dedicated more than 20 years of faithful service to Community Health of South Florida, where she was respected for her compassion, reliability, and unwavering commitment to caring for others Lisa was the beloved daughter of Mercy Jones and Sherman Rackley. She was one of seven siblings: Sherman Rackley, Michael Rackley, Gaither Rackley, Karon Rackley, Kerman Rackley, and Monique Rackley.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving children: her son, Rayshod Rackley, and her twin daughters, Chrischana Francois and Christana Francois.

Lisa was truly a lioness and a warrior in every sense of the word. She was a prophetess and a devoted woman of God whose faith and strength inspired many.

Known for her humor, warm spirit, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, Lisa brought light and laughter wherever she went. She loved to dance and carried a joyful energy that touched everyone around her.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her strength, love, and spirit will live on through her children, family, and all who knew her.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., May 15, 2026 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 2:00pm on Sat., May 16, 2026 at Bethel CME Church. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
