Mrs. Crenshaw we would talk on the golf cart outside at the old building. When we moved to the new RHS building we would talk for an hour. I'm going to miss your beautiful spirit and smile.

The entire Riverview and Sarasota community loves you, "Miss Crenshaw"! 😃😍 We are so grateful to call you our friend and to have enjoyed time together not only working but at football and basketball games and other events. It was always a joy to talk with you and to know how much you loved the staff and students of Riverview and how much you are, in return, loved and respected by all who know you. I will always be grateful for our time together when I returned last spring for a visit —and for our fun Face Time with Terry! Until we meet again, sweet friend. All our love and continued prayers for T and all the family. We love you! Edee Marsh and Kim Cullen
A Tribute to Mrs. Lynn Crenshaw
I can still remember being just seven years old when I first met Mrs. Lynn Crenshaw. She had this effortless, soft-spoken coolness about her that left an impression on everyone she met. As a child, my siblings and I often played at Mr. Spikes' home with his son, who was around our age. Mr. and Mrs. Crenshaw would stop by frequently, and those visits became a highlight.
Mrs. Crenshaw always made time for a conversation, no matter how young I was. She'd ask how school was going and, knowing I loved cars, would dive into discussions about the latest vehicles. I vividly remember her mentioning she wanted to buy a Jeep. I gave her the full MotorTrend rundown, and not long after, they purchased a Cherokee.
Fast forward to my high school days at Riverview, and there she was again, now a security officer. Mrs. Crenshaw carried an infectious upbeat energy and took her job seriously. One moment that stands out was when the school faced a potential threat—she had the cafeteria secured within minutes, demonstrating her quick thinking and commitment to our safety.
I also had a little habit back then of sneaking my car into the teachers' parking lot. One day, she caught me, laughing as she said, "Hey, Billy, I know that's your car! It's all shined up with those armoralled tires—none of the faculty's cars look like that." We both laughed, and I promised her I'd park properly going forward.
During my senior year, Mrs. Crenshaw often checked in with me about my college plans. I told her I planned to head to the East Coast, and she replied, "You better be ready for the cold! But that's a great choice." Those words of encouragement meant so much to me as I prepared for the next chapter of my life.
Mrs. Crenshaw was more than just a familiar face—she was a confidante, a role model, and someone who truly cared. She had a gift for making people feel important and valued. Heaven has gained a truly remarkable angel.
"Great souls never truly die—they leave behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories that live on in the hearts of all they touched."
Respectfully, Billy Russell Bridgeland, TX

Dear Lynne, I am so grateful that you were our security lady on RHS's third floor, a person who was always helpful and supportive of teachers. There were countless times when your sweet voice encouraged and uplifted me! For that, I will always remember you with love. Kelly Soyars, English Dept.
May Lynne's children, grandchildren, and their grandchildren feel daily the love and genuineness that Ms. Crenshaw exhibited daily....Paul Gallagher
