Marion “Bear” Calhoun, 90, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on July 16, 2026. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-5:00pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Services will be held from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Thursday, 23, 2026 at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters, Brenda Watkins and Tina Brookins; sons, Marion Calhoun of Sarasota, FL and Marion Calhoun of Palmetto, FL; a host of nieces and nephews; great friend and brother, Lonzine (Bud) Adams.
