Norvice Lorraine Major White was born on January 9, 1953 to the late Lawrence Major and Beatrice Major.
She was born and raise in Sarasota Florida. Graduating from high school she went to Vocational School
And obtained training as a secretary, but starting working as a housekeeper at the Hyatt, Retail Sales at Mass Brothers and a Presser at the Central Laundromat. (Which she became well known for her pressing everyone clothes young and old in our community.
She was a loving mother. Always trying to do her very best in spite of her obstacles she never gave up and never gave in. Very humble woman always willing to give her last. She always walked with a loving manner and carried a beautiful smile. During her illness she carried an attitude that kept her children smiling and hopeful, until God had the final say so.
She is to preceded in death by her brothers Lawrence Major and Stanley Major and her sister Birdie Brown.
Norvice leaves to cherish her memories through her children, Beatricia White Butler, Tyron White and Ashley Marshall; 13 Grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Allen T Major; 3 sisters, Lula Moore, Michelle Major, Glenda Lane; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

I was heartbroken to hear about the loss of your mother. She was such a sweet warm person, and I know how deeply she loved each one of you (BeeBee, TeeTee and Ash).
