Reginald “Ray-Dawg” Rainey, 50, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Nov. 14, 2024. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Nov. 22, 2024 at Bethel C.M.E. Church. Services will be held 10:00am on Sat., Nov. 23, 2024 at Happy Gospel Church. Burial will be held at Galilee Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving children, Ladarius Rainey, Aierial Rainey, Regina Rainey, Erica Rainey, Rakenna Rainey, Ranisha Rainey, Kandy Rainey, Jasmine Bryant, Naijah Yoder, Reginald Rainey Jr., Rassau Rainey, William Storey, Lily Smith, Jesse Morris, Paislei Rainey, and Araya Rainey; Fiancée, Jessica Smith; step mother/step father, The Herlongs; aunts and uncles, Dr. Cheryl Logan (Bill), Joan Enoch, Diane Colbert (Jimmy), Erica Rainey, and Robert Lyons; his brother from another mother, Joe Lee Rivers; 9 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friend like Rodney Mitchell and Cadillac, and an entire community

Dang I'm lost of words when I seen u come to my job to get a game for your son you was in happy spirits I'm saddened that you left to my kids Lathel Jr. ,Thelvon,Tamonti,Capresha and They Rainey family I got y'all all in my prayers sorry for y'all lost :'( the whole Rainey family stay strong that's what Reggie would have wanted y'all got my condolences
