Rhonda Jean Coleman was born on February 27, 1964 in Sarasota, FL, to the late Maxine Dillard and Walter Morris.

Rhonda lived a life marked by compassion, resilience, and devotion to those around her.

Rhonda dedicated her career to caring for others, working for many years in the nursing field.

She was known for her gentle spirit, her unwavering optimism, and her ability to see the best in people even when they couldn’t see it in themselves. Her love for others was truly boundless.

She found joy in the beauty of nature, often seeking solace at the beach, her favorite place to unwind. She adored sunsets, the calming sound of the waves, and especially her favorite animal the dolphin, a symbol of grace and peace. Rhonda departed this life on July 4, 2025.

Devoted siblings included the late Michael Morris, Kelly Bellamy and wife Elaine Bellamy , Jean Morris, Dedra and Valerie Morris she leaves behind her loving children, Kiera Firby and Jabarae Firby, and her cherished grandchildren: Marquis Deloach, Jordan Ingram, Jabarae Firby Jr., Ja’zion Firby, Jaceyon Firby, Davian Firby, Jasiah Burrell, Amir Burrell, Alyiah Firby, Ariana Firby, Iviana Firby, Ja’Riah Firby, and Ja’Kyra Firby. Two Beautiful nieces a great niece, and two great nephews. God sisters Denita Roberts, Ella Scarbrough and Francis Dillard.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a mother, a grandmother, a sister, a aunt and a friend to all. She was a source of unconditional love and light.

A public viewing will be held on Sat., July 26, 2025 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 3:00pm on Sat., July 26, 2025 at Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
