Robert "Jack" Harris, 86, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Feb. 28, 2022. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Wed., Mar. 9, 2022 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Thurs., Mar. 10, 2022 at Sarasota National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

He is survived by one daughter: Lynette Harris Heggs of Sarasota, Florida and three sons: Everett and Ricky Harris both of Sarasota, Florida; and Steve Harris of North Port, Florida He is also survived by one sister Yvonne White of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Darranda Heggs, Darrien “TJ” Heggs Jr., both of Sarasota, Florida, Ebony Bain, Daniel Harris both of Tacoma , Washington and Serena Harris of St. Petersburg, Florida; He also leaves two great grandchildren carry on his legacy: Daniel Harris Jr. of Tacoma, Washington and Austin Allen Heggs of Sarasota, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives. Those who will also cherish his memory include his two very close friends – Rev. Ezell Patterson and Bobby McGee.
