Robert “Skeeter” Wilcox, 81, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on August 30, 2025. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Happy Gospel Church. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

He is preceded in death by his: parents, Bertha and Luke; grandparents, Nealie and William; wife, Cheral; brothers, Lorenzo and Adam; sisters, Alice, Jacquelyn, and Debra.

Robert leaves to cherish his sons, Quincy and Willie; daughters, Jacqueline, Crystal, Andrea (Brandon), Latoya and a bonus daughters, Taniya; 41 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; brothers, David, Eugene, George, Isaiah, Joseph, Luke and Andrew; sisters, Diane, Linda, Michelle, Barbara, Clematine, and Geraldine; special love for all his, nieces and nephews; a host of family and friends also his life long best friend Jerome. A big thank you to a special granddaughter, Keya Wilcox who helped care for him.
