Spencer Bennett, affectionately known as SNAG, 69, of Sarasota, FL died Dec 8, 2024. He was born to Doris Jones Bennett(d) and Harry Lee Bennett, Sr. (Mrs. Jo Bennett ) on Jan. 28, 1955 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He attended Booker until desegregation, then bused to Riverview. He was known by many as a "Good Guy” funny, easy going, would do anything for anybody. He grew up manicuring lawns with GrandDad. He worked in construction on major projects thru out South FL. He could cook anything, fry fish, ribs, cakes. He has fed the masses.
The Bennett Family(s) will cherish his memory: daughter, Chantial; 4 grand children; 5 great grand children siblings; Armentha, Harry Lee Jr., Dorothy Jean (d), Willie Sr. (d), Willie Jr., William, Gregg , and Steven; a loving host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates, friends, coworkers & acquaintances.
Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sat., Dec. 14, 2024 at Jones Funeral Home.

Remembering SNAG and BIGFOOT CHARLIE,at the TOWN HALL & JAKE'S back in the day that was one of the best times I remember R.I.P. a friend.
What a guy, he was always alot of fun and always had a smile on his face, R.I.P. LJM.
