Wiley Phillips, 72, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on May 10, 2025. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., 23, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 11:00am on Sun., May 25, 2025 at Mount Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial will be held at Galilee Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
Wiley Phillips was born July 19, 1952 in Sarasota, FL along with his twin sister, to their late parents Ethel Mae Phillips and Almond Phillips, Sr. Wiley was a man of God who worked diligently in his church until his health began to fail. He was a family man who love and cherish spending time with his natural family, as well as church family.
He leaves to cherish his memories: His Wife: Deloris Perry Phillips; Sons: Gregg Phillips, Christopher Phillips; Step Son: Nickoy Newell; Daughter: Anita Sellers; Step Daughter: Jeneva Jackson; Brothers: Albert Phillips Sr., Herculee Phillips, and Harry Phillips; Sisters: Annie Mae Brooks, Vera Mae Phillips, Nedda Mae Phillips, and Elizabeth Mitchell (His Twin); A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Relatives, and Friends.
His legacy lives on in the memories shared and the love he gave, which will never be forgotten.
