Peace. This is saint peeler from spfld ma. Sorry for your loss. I remember meeting you years ago. I always admired apostle styles. He was a great speaker. Love you.
I served in the funeral industry in Spartanburg and Elder Styles was always a pleasure to work with as we served the families within his congregation. What impressed me the most with him was, like his mother, Elder Styles was a 'people' person. He had time for everyone, no matter if you were his member or not. And if you visited the church for one of the services, it never mattered to him your denomination, he made you feel welcome. He will certainly be missed in Spartanburg. I considered him a friend and my prayer and love are extended to his family. Well done Elder, well done.....good night. Pastor Michael Buckson, Cedar Grove AME Church, Orangeburg, S.C.

Family at: I met Apostle Styles and his mom via my mother (Saint Elizabeth Hoover) some time ago when I sang and traveled with the McCollough Heavenly Bells. I assisted him one year in preparing for the softball banquet held in Charlotte, NC. He was a pleasant person. He never got too big to not speak whenever we passed one another. He shared so much history when called upon and he was truly genuine and DEDICATED. He will be missed. Family- I pray your pain will be eased. Forever cherish the memories (because they are precious). Apostle Styles knew his job and he did it well. Not only was he a pastor to his congregation, he instantly became a pastor to whomever needed a little more faith, or maybe someone who needed some encouragement. We remember him standing on the podium and speaking in his regular voice, and the spirit would just fall. He didn't have to raise his voice because he was heard already. He had a quiet power that resonated through the building. This great man of God will truly be missed. The Bilal family
