Audrey Crawford Payton Lee was born January 18, 1955. She was the daughter of Mr Otis (Odus) and Fannie Payton. She was educated in the Spartanburg County School district and later furthered her education at USC Upstate where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Audrey enjoyed her career in nursing where she worked in Pediatrics and Geriatrics.
She was a faithful member of Greater Bibleway where she served in various capacities such as Transportation Ministry, Sunday school Ministry, Nursing home visitation, and was an Ordained Elder. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do to serve and encourage others.
She leaves to cherish her Two daughters Melissa Lee Sawyer (Raymond), Michelle Nicole Lee. One son Michael Lamont Lee (Jennifer). Four Grandchildren Hannah, Alyssa, Raymond Jr., and Harper and a host of friends and family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore Rochelle Lee, two daughters Anita Diane Crawford and Lashonda Tanisha Lee, One sister Precious Burris
A Celebration of the Life of Audrey Payton Lee will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
Burial will be in the M. J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Dr., Anderson, SC.
