Obituary For Barbara Jean Rice
Mrs. Barbara Jean Rice, age 65, if 142 Lanier St. Spartanburg, SC, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her home. Barbara was the daughter of the late James Earle and the late Ethel Byrd Earle.
Barbara is survived by her husband Wilford Rice; her daughter Laconda Earle of Spartanburg SC; sisters Carletta Glenn and Dorothy Earle; brothers Charles E Earle (Brenda) of Charlotte NC, Edward Mayes of Spartanburg SC, and Otis Lyles of Campobello SC; four grandchildren, Carneshia Lee, Dondreโ Lee, Zyhir Rice, and Anaya Rice, of Spartanburg SC; three great grandchildren, TaโDriyan Irby, Chance Lee, and Legend Lee, of Spartanburg SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her son Darryl Rice, brothers Eugene Tucker, James Earle III, Nathaniel Earle; sister Elizabeth Earle; and granddaughter Briana Jeter.
Service will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church.
