Mrs. Betty Jean Collins-Reid, 55, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother Vera Collins, her father Raymond Green, her grandson Ares Collins, her grandmother Lillie Collins, her uncles Albert and Matthew Collins.
Survivors include her husband Nathane Reid of the home; two daughters Khydiajah (Jonathon) Mullins and Bessie Reid of Spartanburg; four sons Ethane (Jykeya) Collins of Inman, Nathaniel (Kiana) Reid of Spartanburg, Gary Dawkins of Atlanta, James Dawkins of Turbeville; nine grandchildren Amir Collins and Mariah Elmore of Inman, Kaiden Reid, Kai’LanaReid and Keon Rice of Spartanburg, Israel and Isabella Dawkins of Atlanta, Kameron and Kamiyah Mack of Columbia; three sisters Tammy Collins, Patricia Wallace, and Sheena Wallace all of Spartanburg; two brothers Phillip Wallace of Inman, and Alfred Wallace of Spartanburg; a very special niece Aaliyah Collins of Spartanburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
