Spartanburg, SC - Betty Branson Jones, 67, peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 12, 2018. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Tom and Lucille Branson. Betty was a member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church. She retired from M.E. M. C. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her daughter, Trisha (Gerald) Smith of Spartanburg, SC; her three sons, Tony Branson of Roebuck, SC, Carlton (Dorothy) King of Spartanburg, SC and Antwan Jones of the home; her four sisters, JoAnn (Leroy) Douglas, Margaret Branson and Mamie Branson all of Roebuck, SC and Ellen Branson of Moore, SC; her four brothers, Tom Miller of Spartanburg, William Branson of Roebuck, SC, Clarence Branson of Boiling Springs, SC and Alvin Branson of Spartanburg, SC; her nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Branson and a sister, Mary Ferguson. A Celebration of the Life of Betty Branson Jones will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster Chapel Baptist Church, 2800 Stone Station Rd., Spartanburg, SC. Rev. Dr. Patrick Suber will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of 105 Miles Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
