Billy Ray Williams, Jr.,53, of Spartanburg, SC and formerly of Riverside, CA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Born April 25, 1967 in Gastonia, NC, he was the son of Billy Ray Williams, Sr. and Delphia Williams Drummond.
A Celebration Honoring the Life of Billy Ray Williams, Jr. will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 594 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the chapel one prior to the service. After the memorial services the family will be at:725A Baltimore St., Spartanburg, SC.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Delphia Drummond, 410 E. Park Ave., Gastonia, NC on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
Due to COVID restrictions the family ask all guest to wear mask.

Billy was 1 of the Smartest most interesting brothers id ever met.We were neighbors..and he was a huge ladies man..i used to call him "The Quintessential Bachelor" he was very cool. And to know he was a Black Man that was offered a position with SpaceX..and "i actually knew him". Only solidified what i already knew. He was a Special person..and the world is less special..without him.
