To the family of Carlton Farr, we send our heartfelt condolences and prayers to your family and the grandkids that he treasured. We absolutely loved and adored our friendship with Carlton and will miss him dearly. Tennis won't be the same without him being there while different people stopped by to watch us play or talk to us while we sat on the tailgate of his or my truck. May the Lord keep and sustain you while going through this transition of your lives and for the days to come. Rest in Heaven Carlton a.k.a. "My Dawg". Until we meet again! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said in a speech back in 1963, "That if it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, then sweep streets like Michelangelo carved marble. Sweep streets like Beethoven composed music. Sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry. Sweep streets so well that all of the hosts of heaven and earth will have to pause and say here live a great street sweeper who swept his job well." Likewise, Carlton Farr was a dedicated and faithful church treasurer at Foster Chapel Baptist Church in Roebuck. He did his job so well that on April 23, 2022, all of the hosts of heaven and earth paused and said here lived a great church treasurer who did his job well. Bro. Farr, you will be missed by your entire church family. We are praying for the Farr family during this time of sorrow. Dr. Patrick Suber

I have so many great memories with Carlton. He was more than a coworker and softball coach, he was a great friend.
I will never forget the time he made us practice in the snow. He would not let us leave until EVERYONE made a good glove good throw play. I think we were there for hours.
The times we all played softball together are some of my most fond memories and Carlton was the biggest part of those times.
I hope we can do more good glove good throws together in heaven one day!!!
Rest in peace, my friend.
Jimmy
