Carolyn Powell CHESNEE, SC-- Carolyn Powell, 65, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 11, 2016 in Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Powell was the daughter of the late Boyce Miller, Sr. and Pauline Fernanders. She was the wife of Robert Powell. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three children, Reginald Powell, Kenneth Powell and Taneesha Powell; and her step-children, Melinda Lane and Belinda Lane; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Services for Carolyn Powell will be held Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Friends In Christ United Methodist Church, 603 Fairfield St., Chesnee, SC. Reverend Horace Wilson will officiate. Interment will be in the Fernanders Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. The family is at the home, 1194 Turkey Farm Rd., Chesnee, SC.
