Obituary For Daisy Burney

Daisy M. Burney daughter of Nerva Drye and the late Willie and Ida S. Burney went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2015. She was born in Concord, NC on January 26, 1943. Daisy was a graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1961. She was a member of The Harvest House Ministries and attended Life with Jesus Ministries. Ms. Burney retired from Springs Ind. after 13 years of service. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her mother, Nerve Drye of Baltimore, MD; her daughters, Joy (Robert) Drummond of Taylors, SC, Terri (Dennis) Wheeler of Spartanburg, SC and Brandi Burney of the home; her six sons, Mitchell (Eva) Burney of Charleston, SC, Ray (Tanya) Burney of Duncan, SC, Jeffery (Rejeaner) Burney of Boiling Springs, SC, Jason (Quita) Burney of Spartanburg, SC, Phillip (Dyah) Burney of Roebuck, SC and Justin (Sarah) Burney of Lyman, SC; her fifteen grandchildren; her six great grandchildren; her brother, Keith L. Burney of Moore, SC; her foster siblings, Clarence Riddick and Anna Banks both of Spartanburg, SC; her cherished friends, Hattie Davis and Helen L. Proctor; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Brooks. A Celebration of the Life of Daisy M. Burney will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Harvest House Ministries, 163 Brewton Rd., Moore, SC. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Bishop Jimmy Waddell will officiate.
