Spartanburg, SC - Darlene Tate Lowrance, 80, peacefully entered into eternal rest on August 28, 2016. Mrs. Lowrance was the daughter of the late Lannie Mae Jefferies Tate and Freddie Leroy Tate, Sr. She was the widow of Hubert Lowrance. Darlene was a member of Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church. She was employed with Waffle House. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her children, Joann Mack of Spartanburg, SC, Zora (Larry) Aiken of Mooreboro, NC, Charlene Lowrance of Cowpens, SC; Harold Dean; Rhonda Tate of Boiling Springs, SC; Linda Lowrance of Una, SC; her sisters, Mae Pearl Tate of Spartanburg, SC and Patricia Booth of Nashville, TN; her sister-in-law, Daisy Jane Tate. Mrs. Lowrance was preceded in death by Hubert Lowrance, Jr., Arthur Lee Lowrance and Gwendolyn Lowrance. A Celebration of the Life of Darlene Tate Lowrance will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Sharome Gentry will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
