Obituary For Darren Crook Sr.
Spartanburg, SC – Darren Wayne Crook, 44, entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Mr. Crook was the son of Jerry (Shirley) Crook and Darlene Crook (Zebedee) Oglesby. Darren was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Broome High School. He was employed at Leigh Fibers Inc., Welford, SC. He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: his fiancé, Ms. Yolanda sims of Spartanburg, SC; his daughter, Dasmine C. Crook of Spartanburg, SC; his son, Daren W. Crook Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters, Rosalyn (Ronnie) Splawn of Chesnee, SC and Jerri (Michael) Lyles of Spartanburg, SC; his stepsister, Sharon Cayruth of Spartanburg, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Darren Wayne Crook will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. 602 Howard St. Spartanburg, SC. The Reverend Timothy Hunter will officiate. Interment will be in Island Creek Baptist Church Cemetery The family will receive friends at the home of his fiancé Ms. Yolanda Sims at 149 Garden Creek Lane Spartanburg, SC.

Darren and I went to school together from elementary all the way through high school. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Darren was always kind and considerate to me and others. My sincerest condolences to his family.
