David Lamar "Bunny" Staggs, 67, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2019. Mr. Staggs was the son of the late Emanuel Staggs and Mamie Miller Staggs. He was formerly married to Ann Staggs.
David was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his son, Courtney Lamar Staggs (Shona Kyles) of the home; his daughter, Sytomie Mullins (Kevin) of Spartanburg, SC; his granddaughter, Nadia Ann Staggs; his grandsons, Noah James Staggs and Nicholas Nassir Staggs of the home; his aunts, Flora Robinson (J. W.) of Fairmont, SC and Charlotte Harper of Asheville, NC; his three nieces, Adrienne "Pebbles" Staggs Davis (Rodenard), Michelle Staggs Brown (Timothy) and Terry Taylor; his adopted sister, Takiya Phillips (Eugene) of Asheville, NC; his sister-in-law, Martha Staggs Thomas (Bill) of MD; his great-niece, Tiffany N. Davis; his three great-nephews, Rodenard W. Davis, III, Evan Brown and Cortland E. Brown; and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, David Lunyell Staggs and his brother, James Emanuel Staggs.
A Celebration of the Life of David Lamar "Bunny" Staggs will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 34 Blackstock Rd., Inman, SC. The Rev. Richard L. Sadler will officiate. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1451 Compton Bridge Rd., Inman, SC.
The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Courtney L. Staggs, 270 Park St., Inman, SC.
