Deborah Jean Floyd went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2021 after a long on and off illness. She was the daughter of the late Pastor Ella Mae Evans and Roosevelt Evans of Spartanburg, SC.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her loving and devoted husband of thirty-five years, Mr. Cornell Floyd; her son, Jacob Evans (Felicia Belt-Evans); her daughter, Chandra (Monike) Evans; beloved grandson, Cha’Korey Floyd of the home, Jacobian Smith and Jacavius Smith; her granddaughter, Isabella Evans (Lamijae Bell); her sister, Teresa Drummond; her brother, Roosevelt Evans (Elesh R. Evans); her special aunt, Diane Henderson, her sisters-in-law, Kimberly Floyd, Cathy Bates, and Karen Floyd; her special nieces and nephew, Terrell Evans, Ashley Drummond, Wallace Drummond, Joshua C. Evans and Daugi Mikayla C. Evans; and host of other brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her sons, Cornell Floyd, III and Shalil Floyd; and her grandparents, Elnoria Evans and Roosevelt Evans, Sr.
