Debra Ann Howard peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, after living a fulfilling and service led life that began on Thursday, July 12, 1956.
Debra found immense joy in celebrating every season of life including birthdays, baptisms, graduations, anniversaries, and holidays. She had a gift for selecting the perfect card and always added her own special touch to every celebration near or far. Family gatherings filled her heart, especially when they included laughter, love, and plenty of chocolate.
Fearless and forward thinking, Debra embraced new opportunities with honesty, integrity, and grace. Her strong values, unwavering patience, and radiant positivity left a lasting impression on all who knew her. She often reminded others that life has a way of giving back what we pour into it and that acts of kindness and service nourish the soul.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Upper Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

My dear brother in Christ,
As we continue to sit at the foot of the Cross, we are reminded that even in moments of deep sorrow, there is always something better on the other side. Though nothing can truly prepare us for the emotional pain of losing a loved oneβespecially a motherβwe can find comfort in knowing that God promised to send us a Comforter in our time of need.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, rest upon you and your family during this difficult time. My heart and prayers are with you, and I want you to know that I love you dearly. Your family will continue to be lifted in prayer as you walk through this season of loss.
