Obituary For Donald Clifton

SPARTANBURG, SC - Donald Terry Clifton peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Mr. Clifton was the son of the late Samuel Lee Clifton and Mary Etta Clifton. He was the widower of Inez Clifton. Donald was a member of Cleveland Chapel Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Carver Senior High School, Class of 1970. Mr. Clifton served in the U.S. Navy. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his three sons, Ditrick (Tyra) Clifton of Spartanburg, SC, Robbie Clifton of Washington DC and Michael Dinard of Tampa, FL; his daughter, Terralyn (Randolph, Jr.) Garrett of Spartanburg, SC; his three sisters, Valerie Lindsey of Augusta, GA, Darlene Haywood and Arlene Wilkins both of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, Ronald (Lily) Clifton of Augusta, GA; his two grandchildren, Ali and Jamir Garrett of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of the Life of Donald Terry Clifton will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Phillip J. Buckson will officiate.
