Mrs. Dottie Lou Geeting Jennings, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2020. Mrs. Jennings was born on December 10, 1937 in Eldorado, OH to the late George and Ruth Henderson Geeting. She was the wife of Jack Shealy Jennings.
Dottie leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: her husband, Jack Shealy Jennings; her three sons, Chris (Brenda) Jennings, Tim (Beth) Jennings, and Curtis Jennings all of Pauline, SC; her daughter, Teresa (Keith) Davis of Spartanburg, SC; her six grandchildren, Matthew (Crystal) Davis of Spartanburg, SC, Cassidy (Andy) Ethridge of Greenville, SC, Amie (Nick) Turner of Texas, Lindsey (Brandon) Gibson of Chesnee, SC, Elise (John) Dawson of Pauline, SC, and Michael (Meagan) Jennings of York, SC; twelve great-grandchildren and one due this month; two sisters, Roberta Russell and Ruth Ann Thompson; one brother Darrell Geeting; and a host of additional family and friends.
Dottie was preceded in death by: her sisters, Eileen McFaddin, Mary Ellen Pierce, Ionia Sipe; her brothers, George Jr. Duane, Jackie, Richard, & Paul Geeting; her grandson, Stephen Jason Davis.
A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Dottie Lou Geeting Jennings will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 11:00 o’clock in the morning at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 2817 East Main Street Ext, Spartanburg, SC. Rev. Keith Davis will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, 905 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC and The Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC.
