Douglas Wright, 79, passed away at read RID heart center on Sunday, December 12, 2021 surrounded by his daughters, Rebecca and Danielle, grandchildren, and family. He was the son of the late Eunice Wright and Warren Kelly. Mr. Wright was a native of Inman, South Carolina where he graduated from Bethune High School. He retired from international wire after 40 years of service. He was a lifelong member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Inman, South Carolina where he served as a Treasurer and Deacon. In addition to his daughters, he is survived by: grandchildren, Alexis, Shana, Asia, Anysia, Melody, Dejuan and Jaianna; one great-grandchild; brother, Ralph Snoddy; sister, Maebel Dudley; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of the Life of Douglas Wright will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Inman, SC. Burial will be in the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, Boiling Springs, SC.
Hey grandpa we miss you so much and I was wanted to tell you that everything is going good I have a baby boy now and baby girl is three years old she is growing so fast I wish you was here to watch them grow up I love you so much grandpa ❤️
