Mr. Edward Mitchell, 74, of 119 Cox St., entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home after a brief illness. He was the son of the late George Williams, Sr. and Lillie Bell Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell was of the Baptist Faith.
Edward was employed with Tolbert Mason Construction Company for several years.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: his wife, Sadie Mae Jackson of Inman, SC; his daughters, Gail Williams and Melissa Davidson both of Spartanburg, SC; his sisters, Lois Drayton and Gloria Wheeler both of Spartanburg, SC; his brothers, Leonard Williams and Billy Joe Williams both of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his daughter, Gloria Williams; and two brothers, Michael and George Williams.
Services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg,SC.
