Obituary For Ella Miller

Pacolet, SC - Ella Mae McKissick Miller, 87, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Willie L. McKissick and Mari Smith McKissick. She was the wife Daniel Miller, Jr. She was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Whitestone, SC until her health declined. Mrs. Miller was retired from Butte Knitt, a division of Jonathan Logan. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her loving husband of 67 years, Daniel; her children, Elretha (Don) Wade, Daniel (Cynthia) Miller, III and Wanda M. Blakely all of Spartanburg, SC,Marvin (Elizabeth) Miller of Newark, NJ; her sister, Marzie Farr; her brother, Booker McKissick of Pacolet, SC; her thirteen grandchildren, Monica Hymes, James (Latasha) Gist of Spartanburg, SC, Chavis (Hannah) Miller of Union, SC, Rasheeda and Adrian Miller of Homestead, FL, Abria (Carlos) Bennett of Simpsonville, SC, Jamie Blakely of Greenwood, SC, Latrice (Roshard) Dawson of Columbia, SC, Bradrick Walker of Lancaster, SC, Garrett (Scherry) Blakely of Columbus, GA, Joshua (Heather) Miller of Ashville, NC; Justin (Arnacecil) Miller of Spartanburg, SC and Cindy Popa of Newark, NJ; her twenty great grandchildren; and her two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three of her children. A Celebration of the Life of Ella Mae McKissick Miller will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Reverend Jeffrey F. King will officiate. Interment will be at the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive fr4iends at the home, 796 Sunny Acres Rd., Pacolet, SC.
