Elouise Stephens Miller, 89, of Spartanburg, SC made her transition on March 12, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Miller was born on August 6, 1930 in Spartanburg County to Fred & Clara Rogers Stephens.
Elouise was a faithful member of Harrison Grove Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess, a member of the Willing Workers Sympathy Club, The Benevolent Society, Wednesday Bible Club, and Sunday School Class. Elouise lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family, traveling, and spending time with her grands and great-grands who called her "great nanny".
She is survived by: one sister, Alice Pearson; three sisters-in-law, Wessie Stephens, Lois Miller and Ann Miller; brother-in-law: Curtis Miller; five children, Leroy, Rick, Dwayne, Timothy, and Gwendolyn; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Leon Miller; brothers, John, Fred, Jonah and Tom Stephens; and sisters, Lillie Glenn, Gladys Williams, Annie Bell Foster and Martha Stephens.
The Homegoing Celebration for Elouise Stephens Miller will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
