Mrs. Elwillie J. Linder, 74, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Fannie Mae Salters Johnson. Mrs. Linder was the wife of George Linder. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by: her devoted husband of forty years, George Linder; her loving daughter, Robin Lann; her two grandsons, Waddell Lann and Jeremy Bivings; her great-grandson, Kendall; her sister, Emily Marshall; and a host of nieces and a nephew; other dear relatives. A Celebration of the Life of Elwillie J. Linder will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Entombment will be in the Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 901 S. Pine St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
