Mr. Eric Levette Jones was born September 20, 1967 to Walter and Lydia Cannon. Eric
was raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
He graduated from Spartanburg High School, Class of 1985. Mr. Jones enjoyed cutting
grass and eating at his favorite restaurants, Golden Corral and Burger King.
Eric Jones peacefully entered eternal rest on June 9, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional
Medical Center.
Left to cherish many memories are: his parents, Lydia and Walter Cannon; his children;
Miguel, Sergio, Tymeisha, Eric Jr., Erica, Natanyia, Shaterrica, and Tyriq; his brothers,
Micheal Jones and Gerald (Charlene) Cannon; his sister, Demetrice (Leon) Burgess; his
aunts, Mary Cannon-Garner and Helen (William) Jackson; and a host of other relatives
and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his brother, Harrison Jones, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, Roebuck, SC.
RIP Big (E) My sincere condolences to the family and friends, will miss you buddy, will never forget, how working at Belks we became good friends because of knowing your son, Sergio, we had lots of conversations and talks about different things.
