Obituary For Ethel Earle
Spartanburg, SC - Ethel B. Earle, 92, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 3, 2016. Mrs. Earle was the daughter of the late John Byrd and Margaret D. Byrd. She was the widower of James Earle. Mrs. Earle was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her four daughters, Dorothy D. Earle of the home, Carletta Glenn (Bruce), Barbara J. Rice (Wilford) and Elizabeth A. Earle all of Spartanburg, SC; her son, Charles E. Earle of Charlotte, NC; her seventeen grandchildren; her thirty-three great grandchildren; her great great grandchild; her four daughter-in-laws; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Eugene Tucker, James III, Nathaniel and Michael Earle; her sister, Johnnie Mae Boozer; her grandson, Darryl Rice; and her great granddaughter, Briana Jeter. A Celebration of the Life of Ethel B. Earle will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 700 S. Converse St., Spartanburg, SC. Bishop Charles J.J. Jackson will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC.

To the family of Ethel Earle: Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. I will never forget Ethel. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known. She was soft spoken, thoughtful, dependable, wise, knowledgeable in so many areas. She embodied all the qualities of a truly good person. She had both great dignity and humility. I have thought of her so often through the years and of how much I admired her. She was a good friend to my mother and I appreciated that so much. She is one of those people who leave the world a better place for having lived.
