Freddie Byrd, Sr. passed May 25, 2025.
Survivors include: two sons, Freddie Byrd, Jr. and William Byrd; two brothers, Eddie Byrd and Gerald Jackson; three sisters, Deotha Bobo, Rose Barksdale and Joyce Long.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC.
To Eddie and the the Byrd family My sincere and heartfelt condolences to you. I remember Freddie was always a source of fun and laughter back in the days of Carver High School. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
My heartfelt condolences to the Byrd family. I remember Freddie as an industrious young man, self taught electrician, chef and business man. He was also a good father, family man and friend.
