Gail Evans, 70, was born on November 14, 1950. Ms. Evans was the daughter of Ellis and Frances Robinson Evans.
She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
Gail graduated from Carver High School, Class of 1969. Ms. Evans furthered her education at Spartanburg Technical College.
Ms. Evans retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after many years of dedicated service.
Gail loved to travel and spend time with her friends and family.
Ms. Evans entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Mamie Giles of Columbia, SC and Willie Mae Evans; one niece, Nakita Danielle Evans of Roebuck, SC.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her devoted son, Daryl (Lori) Evans of Inman, SC; her granddaughter, Tenia Danielle Evans; Delores A. Evans of Roebuck, SC and Barbara E. Evans of Orangeburg, SC; three special nieces, Theresa Dillard, Stephanie D. Johnson and Cindy Boyd Burks; two special nephews, Charles (Lisa) Giles, Jr. and Kobe Johnson; special friends, Vickie Logan, Barbara Miller, Dorothea Jones, Loree Christian and Linda Meadows; and a host of cousins, great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of the Life of Gail Evans will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Bishop W. I. Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in the First Baptist Church Cemetery, 200 Charity Dr., Spartanburg, SC.
