Obituary For Gerald Graves

Gerald Eugene “Dynamite” Graves, 69, peacefully entered into eternal rest on October 23, 2015. Mr. Graves was the son of the late Grant Moore and Demetras Parks. Gerald was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He was retired from Young’s Office Supply. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: four daughters, Shastine (Nick) Graves Mings, Keisha Graves, Kara Lynn Graves and Khlayer Graves; one son, Kyria Graves; four granddaughters, Yasmine Graves, Tiffanee Waddell, Aleshia Waddell and Keara Brooks; two grandsons, Rashad Graves and Keron Graves; two great grandsons; two sisters, Marilyn Pearson and Etta M. Parks; one brother, Sammy Parks; one brother-in-law, Bernard Alston. A Celebration of the Life of Gerald E. Graves will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon in The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Pastor Scotty Porter will officiate. Interment will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Spartanburg, SC. Minister Scotty Porter will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Marilyn Pearson, 468 Concord Ave., Spartanburg, SC.
