Gloria Jackson aka βGloβ was born on May 12, 1963, and entered eternal rest on July 6, 2026 in Pacolet, SC. She was the daughter of Paul Jackson Sr and the late Marie Prysock Jackson. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She was born in Englewood, NJ. She graduated from Vineland High School, Class of 1982 in Vineland, NJ. She worked at the Sands Casino in Atlantic City for many years. She briefly lived in Ocala, FL. before moving to Pacolet, SC. She worked with the Spinx company as an assistant manager for 13 years before she retired.
Left to cherish fond memories are: her father, Paul Jackson Sr. of Newfield, NJ. Her children, Donna Jackson of Galloway, NJ. Richard Perez of Orlando, FL. Rachel Rodriguez of Spartanburg, SC. Her 7 grandchildren, Alexia Ramirez, Kaydence Thomas, Keyen Thomas, Elisha Perez, Kennedy Thomas, Keylana Thomas and Kylee Thomas. Her siblings, James Murphy of Pacolet, SC. Rose Webster of Pacolet, SC. Paul Jackson Jr. of Pacolet, SC, David Jackson of Pacolet, SC. Richard Jackson and Maurice Jackson of Newfield, NJ. And her special/ devoted friend Blanca Betances.
She was predeceased by her mother Marie Prysock Jackson of Pacolet, SC. Her siblings, Larry Murphy of Pacolet, SC. Michael Murphy of White Stone, SC and Jeanette Murphy of Pacolet, SC.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel. Livestream will be available via Facebook at https://evt.live/gloria-jackson

Thirty+ years of friendship still doesn't seem like enough!
Some people come into our lives for a season, but you became part of my family and part of my heart. I never imagined a world where you wouldn't be in it. We were supposed to grow old together.
