So don't be troubled or afraid." ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT I am saddened to hear of the passing of Ms. "Gwent" ( as my mother, Beatrice "Bea"Cole McGowan would call her ❤️‍🩹)🙏🏽. I fondly remember her from my childhood days at my grandparents' store on Dean Street. Ms. Gwent was a caring and kind person. She created beautiful floral arrangements during my family's time of bereavement. However, my best memory of Ms. Gwent is that chicken salad!!!! That still stands as the best chicken salad ever!!! 😍 I'm so sorry that I missed her Homegoing Celebration but know that she is forever remembered and loved for her kindness and generosity.
