Obituary For Hattie Bennett

She touched our lives with her kindness. She touched our lives with joy. She touched us with her cherry smile and warmed our hearts with her love. This was the life of our beloved, Ms. Hattie Grace Bennett was born December 19, 1936 in Piedmont, South Carolina to the late Perless and Mary Jones. Her only brother, Rev. Charles Jones, and sister, Margaret Martin, preceded her in death. (her history)

As we gather in memory of our loved one, we bow in humble submission to the will of our Heavenly Father. We are grateful to Him for giving us the privilege of loving and being loved by her and the precious gift of memory to sustain us.

Those left to cherish her memories are: son Charles (Man) Bennett (Pat), daughter Shirlee Mosley, son George (Turkey) Bennett, three grandchildren, Carlos Bennett, Krystal Mosley and Kandice Van Exel (Chad), three great grandchildren, Morgan, Pharaoh and Khaki Van Exel, sisters Mary Albright and Patricia Bostic, sister-in-law, Rachel Jones, nieces, Angel Bostic-Thompson (Ronnie), Vernell (Re'Na) Davis (Bradford), Josie Reed, Teresa Albright Moody (Ronald), and Jewel Albright, nephews Dwight Albright and Herman

Bostic (Sophia Swanson) and other great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family encompassing many friends and acquaintances. Special friend and caregiver Mrs. Hettie Jones.

Service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 12:00 noon at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg,SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2256 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC.
