Obituary For Henry J. Elijah, Jr.
Henry Jay Elijah Jr. was born on September 24, 1971, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Henry Elijah Sr. and Christine Elijah. He departed this life on March 4, 2026.
Henry’s presence and quiet kindness will be remembered by many. He enjoyed
watching sports, and one of his greatest joys was watching and supporting his son’s
journey in professional basketball. More than anything, Henry loved spending time with
family and friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory his son, Jalen Nesbitt; his brother, Michael Elijah; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at New Bedford Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
