Spartanburg, SC – Isabell Foster, 101, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 1, 2015. Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Mattie Hughes Johnson and Roland Johnson. She was the widow of Sammy Foster. Isabell was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She was employed with United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. where she retired. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her treasured sister, Monzlee J. Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Isabell was preceded in death by her 6 sisters and 6 brothers A Celebration of A Blessed Life of Isabell Foster will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 445 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. Dr. Benjamin D. Snoddy will officiate. Interment will be held at the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC. The family will receive friends at the home of her nephew, Elston Brown, 133 Chester St., Spartanburg, SC.
