Obituary For Jackie Mills

On January 27th , 2024 our beloved father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend Mr. Jackie Lee Mills was called home to be with the Lord.

Jack as we called him, was born June 9th, 1954 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late James and Aileen Mills.

Jack attended Spartanburg High School and went on to work in the textile industry for many years. In his free time Jack loved to cook, go fishing, and be surrounded by the ones he loved.

Jack was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. James Mills Jr. and Mr. Oletha Mills. He leaves to cherish his children Jackie Mills Jr. (NC), Kaimi Mills (MD), Jason Mills (NC), Shekia Hester (SC), Kelly Proctor (SC), and Conyus Proctor Jr. (SC), his siblings Carolyn Mills (SC), Roy Wilson (SC), Kathy Mills Smith (George) (SC), and Annette Drummond (Stanley) (SC), ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Fosters Grove Baptist Church, Chesnee, SC. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
