Jamie Floyd Smith passed May 24, 2025.
Brother, I can't believe you're gone and too soon.. I saw your golden heart when we lived together after high School. Those were the greatest of times. Working together and living together. We got to know each other well. As we grew older and saw each other less; as is the normal way that bond didn't diminish. From childhood through high school and into adulthood, you always made us all laugh. That seems to be a common thread.. I'll forever miss that phrase you like to use .."What are you up too kiddddd!!!"... I have so much more to say and hope to share it with all those you left behind, in keeping your memory alive. Love ya brother! R.I.P.
To this day, Tom is always telling Jamie and Nate stories from high school. They usually start with, "One time, Jamie, Nate and I were skipping school to go get concert tickets..." We love you and will miss you. - Thomas Papineau and Jennifer Codding
The stories from back in the day. Never a serious moment spent around Jamie. Had jokes and could tell em too. Catch you on the flip side ked. RIP.
We were best friends! even though we didn't see each other much. We had so many good times together. Love ya bud.
Uncle Jamie, you were more of a big brother to me. I will never forget you teaching me how to hold my fists if I ever had to defend myself, or when I shocked you with my shooting skills when you were teaching me how to shoot a gun for the first time. Also how that 9mm bruised my hand, but I would never admit it. You were such a pain in the ass, but your heart was gold!! I love you! You were taken way too soon, and I will make it my mission to make sure everyone knows!!! I know you're with uncle Timmy, Grandma Helen, and Grandpa Herb. Give them all a hug for me, I'll see you guys one day❤️but until then I'll continue sharing your story and our memories
