Obituary For Jerheutha Tait

Jerheutha Waltrene Rogers Tait, 81, peacefully entered into eternal rest on July 25, 2019. Mrs. Tait was the daughter of the late Clemon and Annie Mae Rogers.

Mrs. Tait was a member of Greater St. James Temple where she attended until her health declined.

She retired from Hoechst Fibers after thirty years of service.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her son, Terence Tait; her loving daughters, Tracie Rice and Dwyla V. (Gary) Sturkey; her grandsons, Terence II “Tee” and Richardson “Beeker"; her granddaughter, Brenzell; her great-granddaughter, Gabrielle “Gabby”; and her loving sister, Loretta G. Rogers.

Mrs. Tait was preceded in death by: her brothers, Clemon Rogers, Jr., J. D. Rogers, James Edward Rogers; and her sister, Shirley Mae Rogers.

A Celebration of the Life of Jerheutha Waltrene Rogers Tait will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Greater St. James Temple, 13255 Asheville Hwy., Inman, SC. Bishop Lawyer Watson will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens, 3901 S. Church St., Roebuck, SC.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Dwyla Sturkey, 103 Brighton St., Spartanburg, SC.
