I am very saddened by the news of LJ's passing. He was a delightful young man to teach and coach. I remember him as a loyal , hardworking, teammate. He was one of the finest young men I've ever been blessed to coach. I'm praying for his family. Coach Randy Burns

Lj was my cousin, one of my favorite cousins for exactly. He was the janitor at the middle school I attended (T.E Mabry Middle School), he's brought me so much joy seeing him every day and asking how my mom was doing. I was walking to class one day and he walked me to my class, and the last thing he said to me was, "I'll always be there for you". Knowing that I can't see him anymore and see him smile and laugh no more kills me, but I know he'll always be in my heart and always watching over me. RIP Lj ♡ -Maddy Gonzalez
