Obituary For Lillie Pearl Gibson
Lillie Pearl Pearson Gibson entered into eternal rest on Easter Sunday morning April 9, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Mr. George Lille and Mrs. Georgia Ruth Pearson Lillie. She was born on March 17, 1942 in the county of Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was united in marriage to the late Mr. Bobby Gibson Sr. for 26 years. Ms. Lillie Pearl Gibson was a faithful member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church. She really enjoyed listening to her Pastor preach. For a number of years, she sung with the Mass and Senior Choir. She attended Florence Chapel High School. She worked as a housekeeper until she was employed at Butte Knitt mills for seven years. Her last employment was at International Wire where she worked for 33 ½ years. Left to cherish her fond and loving memories are: two sons, Mr. Bobby Gibson, Jr. and Mr. Robin Lewis Gibson of Spartanburg, South Carolina.; three daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Mack, Ms. Shirley Gibson and Ms. Dorothy Gibson all of Spartanburg, South Carolina; One brother, Mr. George Edward Lillie of Spartanburg, South Carolina; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Suber, Mrs. Arrie (Mike) Fowler, Mrs. Mae Frances (Raleigh) Baxter and Mrs. Elizabeth (John) Farr all of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, nine great- great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends She was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. William James Lillie; one daughter, Ms. Patricia Gibson, two sisters, Mrs. Nora Mae Anderson and Ms. Delilah Wilkins, one son-in-law, Mr. Oree Mack and one granddaughter, Ms. Fredrica Nichole Gibson.

There are so many memories grandma Lillie. You were the center of our world. All roads in the Gibson family led to Lillie Pearl house. It's giving peace of mind seeing how happy you were this last year of your life. You just wanted to travel and see new places and that's what we did. And I know you're even more happier knowing you have reunited with your second oldest granddaughter. Tell my Drica I said hello and I miss and love her dearly. Y'all continue to watch over us.
