Obituary For Loree Cohen

Spartanburg, SC – Mrs. Loree Means Cohen, 84, of 374 Green Street, Spartanburg, SC, peacefully entered into eternal rest May 12, 2018 at Mountain View Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Richard Means and the late Mary Means Rhinehart. She was of the Baptist faith. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: one daughter, Ms. Dorothy Ruth Cohen; one son, Mr. Joe Cohen Jr.; three granddaughters, Stacey “Jesse” Harris, Loretha “Jett” McCormick and Ricolette Lyles; four great-grandchildren, Shakur J. Harris, Jesse C. Cohen, Asia McCormick and Quintin McCormick and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Means was preceded in death by: three sisters, Mrs. Lois Means Cash, Mrs. Stella Letmon and Mrs. Gladys Means Shippy; and four brothers, Mr. M. C. Means, Mr. F. T. Means, Mr. Evil Means and Mr. Keneth Means. A Celebration of the Life of Mrs. Loree Means Cohen will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, 602 Howard St., Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Lincoln Memorial Gardens, 2310 Cannons Campground Rd., Drayton, SC. Reverend Ron Henderson will officiate.
