Ms. Lorraine Lewis entered into eternal rest May 22, 2022.
Mrs. Lorraine McClain Lewis entered into eternal rest on May 22, 2022. Lorraine was the wife of the late Mr. Isaac "Buck" Lewis, Jr. She was the daughter of the late Elder Clarence McClain and Millie Beason McClain.
She was preceded in death by: sister, Rosa Mae Drummond; three brothers, Sherman, Lewis Clarence "LC", and Samuel McClain; and two stepsons, Rufus and Dwight Lewis.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: five children, Alvin (Cynthia) Lewis of Greer, SC, Isaac (Kendra) Lewis, III of Boiling Springs, SC, Sherry Lewis of Spartanburg, SC, Sarah Lewis of Mauldin, SC and Pamela Lewis of Inman, SC; stepdaughter, Esther (Bird) Lewis of Spartanburg, SC; three sisters, Mary Holcombe of Spartanburg, SC, Lee Alice Jennings of Inman, SC, Ruby Evins of Inman, SC; brother-in-law, Victor Elijah Lewis (Dorothy) of Brooklyn, NY; sister-in-law, Faye Lewis of Hampton, VA; sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Nadine McClain both of Cincinnati, OH; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC. Burial will be in the Good Shepherd Memorial Park, Boiling Springs, SC.
