Obituary For Mable Talley
Mable Talley, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026.
Mable was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She worked in housekeeping for Ramada Inn and Hampton Inn for over 30 years, where she was known for her dedication and commitment.
Mable was the daughter of the late Evelyn Hollis-Talley and the late George Talley.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Kenneth J. Talley (Cierra), and her five grandchildren: Kendrick Foster, Kevin Talley, JaShaun Talley, Jada Talley, and Shanti Fernandez-Talley. She also leaves one great-grandchild, Ryan Talley, who brought additional joy and love into her life.
Mable was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph Wood and George Talley, Jr., and her sister, Annie Cleveland. She is also survived by her sisters Evelyn Coleman, Georgia Talley, and Nellie Talley and Aunt Martha Moss, a host of nieces and nephews, extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
Though Mable is no longer with us physically, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family forever. Her legacy continues through her son, grandchildren, great-grandchild, siblings, and all those whose lives she touched. Mable's family invites relatives, friends, and loved ones to join them in celebrating her life and honoring the memory of a woman who will always remain a treasured part of their family.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the home of her niece, Kim Coleman from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
